Samantha Cable, Psychotherapist
As a certified psychotherapist, I am dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges through personalized sessions designed to address your unique emotional needs. I work with a broad range of concerns and diagnoses, assisting you in exploring your values and developing effective coping strategies to alleviate emotional distress. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can work together toward your healing and well-being.
Adapting Therapy to Your Needs
I Have Experience With…
Anxiety
Whether you’re struggling with social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic attacks, or specific phobias, we can work together to develop effective tools and coping strategies to reduce the discomfort and stress that anxiety brings.
Depression
Feeling persistently sad, low on energy, or disconnected from the things that once brought you joy can be overwhelming. As we work together, we’ll explore the root causes of your depression and focus on developing healthier thought patterns, emotional resilience, and coping strategies to help ease these feelings and support your journey toward well-being
Living Abroad
Moving and living abroad can bring excitement, but it also comes with challenges like adjusting to a new culture, feeling isolated, or navigating unfamiliar systems. In our sessions, we’ll work together to ease the transition, explore ways to build connections, and develop coping strategies to help you feel more at home and confident in your new environment.
Grief
Grieving the loss of a loved one can leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to move forward. In our work together, we’ll create a space to process your emotions, explore the impact of the loss, and develop ways to cope, heal, and gradually find a sense of peace and hope for the future
Self-Esteem/Self-Confidence
Struggling with low self-esteem or a lack of confidence can make it difficult to navigate life and pursue your goals. Together, we’ll work to uncover the roots of these feelings, challenge negative self-beliefs, and build healthier, more empowering perspectives to help you feel more confident and secure in yourself
Identity and Values
Exploring your identity and understanding your core values can feel challenging, especially during times of change or uncertainty. In our sessions, we’ll work together to clarify what truly matters to you, helping you reconnect with your sense of self and align your actions with your deepest values for a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
Living with ADHD can make it hard to stay organized, focused, or manage daily tasks. In our work together, we’ll explore strategies to improve concentration, build effective routines, and manage impulsivity, helping you feel more in control and confident in navigating life’s challenges.
My Approach & Philosophy
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, recognizing that each person is unique and that therapy should be tailored to fit individual needs. I firmly believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to healing and growth. If you are a more logical thinker, we may explore structured approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which provide clear steps to help you make progress. If you lean toward creativity, we can incorporate art therapy, imagery work, and person-centered exploration to safely and creatively process emotions and thoughts.
I also believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and I will consistently seek your feedback to ensure our work together is meaningful and effective. Through our sessions, we will explore what resonates with you, discard techniques that don’t feel right, and create a personalized path toward understanding, growth, and balance in your life.
